We get lots of visitors and it is great to see them. We try our best to entertain and make sure they are relaxed and happy, we can't control the weather tho! Poor Emma, your first visit abroad and your first one to us since we left the UK and the weather was not good..hopefully soon you will enjoy the glorious sunny days Darren, Nic, Nanna & Grandad have.

As you can see we have 3 fantastic adult children, they are very precious to us and the decision to leave the UK leaving them working was not easy. We make the most of the time we can have together and look forward to their sunny smiles.




Friends Frances and Jenny visited May 2006, they stayed for 4 days and were very patient with us as we were in the middle of moving house! We had a giggle and they met our friends from Polemi, I impressed them with my Greek. We went for a very nice meal at FAROS in Latchi, South Cyprus we had traditional meze.

Meze is short for Mezedhes, or little delicacies, and wherever you travel round the Mediterranean they appear in some form or other. Share a meze in South Cyprus and you have tasted the true flavours of the island, for you may be served anything up to 30 dishes. It is a complete meal, but, beware, don't be tempted to finish every dish that arrives on the table, or you may feel as though you've eaten for a week by the end! Just take a leaf out of a Cypriot's book and enjoy your meze “siga siga” or slowly, slowly.



Dale surprised Nic with a trip over in March 2006 it was a lovely surprise!





Sister in-law Thelma (Aka The Big T) and Niece Allison had a hot, fun time in Aug/Sept 2005










Thelma visited again for the New Year this time with our nephew Colin


She decided to decorate our back porch!!





We took a speedboat out and Viv earnt her new name DONUT when she took over the driving...we are still taking the nerve pills!!
