I decided to do pages as the other is getting too long for me to scroll down and edit.
Happy Birthday for yesterday Lesley x
I found this picture on the internet..

how clever nature is! ;)
I realised that this time next year the weddings will be over and I will have 2 married children!
The worlds rarest frog has been found by Andrew Gray, Darren's boss (Manchester)
to read about this exciting news here is a link to their blog
Worlds Rarest FrogThe weather is fresher now and the September clouds are arriving. I booked my tickets for the UK and am thankful I did not use XL airways, will this encourage companies like Easyjet to buy the equipment and flight space cheaply and improve their airlines? I hope so, I pray they are not going to fold.

I have been busy with my new hobby digi scrapbooking and learning graphic design..yes well.
Today we saw concrete being poured around our home..yes we are surrounded. At least some excuse of a road is here for the winter, the only problem is that they have made a lovely slope running towards our garden and left the CYTA pothole lower in the ground so I will turn it in to a fish pond roundabout LOL LOL. It will be interesting to see our neighbours son come roaring home (illegal driver-underage) in his fathers 4x4 as the road is blocked but slightly out of view from the main lane, I have my camera ready!
25th September
I have been so busy, the weather has cooled off to temperatures that you can get jobs done in without melting. A coptic storm is due from the west bringing lots of dust no doubt.
Lesbar fed us wonderfully on indian food that would put some of the indian restaurants on the island to shame, it was a beautiful Saturday lunch afternoon, relaxing and peaceful, thanks Lesley.

Is it really only 30 days until my birthday???!!!!
So we have had the wettest September for years, we enjoyed every drop of rain and the garden agrees.
It did drop in temperature tho, so Pete has had his dip in the pool for October and I think it will be his last til spring, I had mine last week, it is now a case of oooh errr toe dip and out.
I am still scrapbooking digitally:

This is a photograph I took at Pete's graduation in 1979, he was presented to the Queen Mother but there were no official photographs, when she was leaving she looked right at us and smiled, I caught it on camera. It was an exciting time in our lives, we were getting married 3 weeks later. 30yrs next June.

Gosh where have the days gone!? Firstly I want to say GET WELL and GOOD LUCK to Sally, she has had 3 major head ops and another pending, contracted meningitis and in her words, " is alive and kicking". She is fed up because she cannot get to Cyprus until the spring, fingers x'd.
In 10days I am off to the UK, I am told it is a little chilly there, mind you the temp dropped here this evening, it is a full moon and the weather always changes on the moon's mood.
The wedding invitations are coming on nicely and I will collect Nicola's soon, busy times. I have Christmas card orders and realised I need to make some for the UK family, so I am sticking like mad. I have moved from the cupboard as Pete has changed the layout of his trainset and the hobby room has room for me, it gives me better light and more space to make a mess.
Obama has been elected since I last wrote on my blog, money has disappeared and the bartering system is being introduced around the world. Tottenham Hotspurs are at the bottom of the premiership, so they sacked the manager and brought in Harry Redknapp, so far they have won under his care and all is well in our home (until they lose again).
Darren is still waiting for his visa and has left his job in Manchester, anxious times. His wedding is well on its way to being planned.
Nic and Dale are at his Dad's bedside, he is not so good lately, our thoughts are with them all. Their wedding is getting there, it will be a busy 2wks for me, the appointments are over flowing.
