any contacts or information with reference to Plumbers,,joiners and skilled tradesmen (women) would be appreciated as most construction work is now finished.will post some photos when i get the hang of this and hopefully they will be visible !!!!!!!

Polemi Heights
After searching for 4 years, visiting nearly every corner of Cyprus ,viewing several renovation projects and viewing 17 plots of land we finally found our dream location and began to plan the rest of our lives.
We spent several weeks of the year just visiting our plot and cutting back trees and shrubs, clearing away rubbish that had been dumped and just enjoying the scenery. After two years we finally designed our home ,had an architect to draw it up and we received our licence to commence building .Below you can join us in our journey from the beginning :)

December 2007
polemi heightsWe were very surprised to find this little fella when we arrived today, think possibly a hunting dog and as hunting season just over, maybe he got no home to go to ? We think because no workmen today and fresh water on site that he came for a drink and a look for food.Tried to get closer to him but he was rather timid so will come back later with supplies . The beginnings of the swimming pool and no little dog anywhere to be seen, perhaps he found his way home :)

Hi Sally and John
I will keep my ear to the ground for you, I think I know a plumber that was recommended by my friend and I think there is one in Polemi, as my friend lives in Polemi they might be the same person! will let you know. The friends are having a place built and have really been looking out the goodies so will let you know who they are using. Malc at Brambles had a place built at Stroumpi and will let you know who is good and who to avoid, just ask him, infact he used a guy for his Bistro that he used in his home for Plaster boarding etc, so worth asking him, tell him Glynis sent you, they are good friends now and Malc won't hold back!
Easy edit is the tool to use on here for your pics. If they take too long to download try using shrinkpics .com they seem to work well.
Have fun look forward to viewing your UK and Cyprus life...we will meet in Brambles one day no doubt! I'm the short loud Essex girl, yes I am admitting it publicly!!LOL
